Last semester, I remember that Seneca part-time CPA did not start MAP524 (android) and SYD466, and started datawarehousing, big data, DBM635 (SQL server).
This time, the last officer said SYD466 would start next week anyway even with only 6 students, but this time it doesn't start datawarehousing and SQL server.
Because of this surprising change of schedule, now my picks are:
PRJ566 project
MAP524 android (java)
SYD466 UML
Really, I think this story is concluded, and I'll start my 7th semester on these three subjects. It doesn't matter whether I like it or not. I am not even learning SQL server for now, as I am considering learning C# in 2024 (for PRO670).
Summer 2024 should be for PRJ666, PRO670, BDA400, and most likely the last time with Les King.
The old pic is still relevant. This school mostly only starts the yellow course titles plus DBS501, DBW624, PRO690.
And given that the current job market is so bad, I can stop giving a damn. My whole objective is simply to graduate from this mess.
就算唔諗咁多，都睇下個形勢，PT擺明就係少課程揀，我啲elective根本只係攞嚟「射」，完全係讀完就算，唔好同呢間校講感情。I am not really scared by C# which is (still) a popular employable skill/language, but I can't wait for DBM to start in summer. Just finish all 6 courses this year and call it done.
